About Us
Tiny Yves Klein–blue hole-in-the-wall on Flinders Lane near Southern Cross, opened by Vietnamese duo Ai Huynh and Thi Le and serving seriously stacked banh mi from a street-facing counter with plastic-stool footpath seating (Broadsheet, The City Lane, Time Out). Rolls lean on bread from Richmond’s Phuoc Thanh Bakery while the owners ramp up baking at a separate HQ, and fillings skew cheffy: crackling-skinned crispy pork, confit duck, The GOAT (duck plus pork with plum sauce and chilli crisp), a Stand Special with grilled pork, sliced ham and pork loaf, southern-style cold cuts with pate and pork floss, vegetarian roasted-rice tofu or mushroom, and a hearty spicy northern-style beef sausage (Broadsheet, Good Food, Corner). To drink, expect Vietnamese salt coffee, iced milk coffee and other cà phê sữa đá riffs alongside espresso, with a pure walk-up model and no bookings.
