Fukutontei (福豚亭 — happiness through pork) was a compact Japanese tonkatsu-and-ramen room on Russell Street in the Melbourne CBD, a short walk from Melbourne Central. Dengonnet’s Melbourne Japanese guide lists 276 Russell Street with phone (03) 9650 2382, Sun–Thu 11:00–22:00 and Fri–Sat 11:00–22:30, and recommends the Fukutontei Delux Set ($16.80); a 2016 Melbourne Culinary visit highlights crunchy tonkatsu, Aso Volcano ramen ($13.80), Charcoal Beef ramen ($15.80), and buta kimchi nabe ($16.80). Quandoo’s archived Russell Street menu still shows tonkatsu sets, gyutan don and kaki fry but states the venue is not bookable online. The Shop 1 tenancy at 276 Russell Street has ended: Nominatim (Jun 2026) geocodes Naau Cafe as the current ground-floor occupant while the legacy Fukutontei OSM node remains at the same coordinates; Reverse Australia last matched this number to Fukutontei at Shop 1 in November 2021. No standalone Russell Street domain — facebook.com/FukutonteiRamen is the Fukutontei brand's official web channel (Docklands-focused; listed in UN CSV dedup and active Jun 2026). The Fukutontei brand continues at The District Docklands and on DoorDash — not at this Russell Street slug.
