Russian and Eastern European restaurant on Glen Huntly Road in Elsternwick, named for Saint Petersburg’s Nevsky Prospekt. Under new ownership in 2026 the venue keeps the former chef’s menu and staff, trading as Nevsky Eastern European with downstairs à la carte and banquet tables around an open fireplace and upstairs function space for Russian-style share menus. The menu spans borscht, Siberian pelmeni, golubtsi, beef stroganoff, chicken tabaka, lamb pilov with lula kebab, khachapuri and premium vodka pairings; the kitchen notes most dishes can be made gluten-free on request. Fully licensed with cocktails, wines and imported beers. Reservations by phone on (03) 9530 0012; Saturday nights often feature live music and set menus per Elsternwick Village.
