Sri Lankan restaurant and beer garden on Burwood Road in Hawthorn, trading as Pettah Road at the former Penang Coffee House site (549 Burwood Rd). The kitchen led by executive chef Geethan Bandara (OpenTable, 2025) focuses on shareable Sri Lankan street food and curries: lamprais wrapped in banana leaf, roti and string-hopper kottu, devilled chicken and prawns, hot butter cuttlefish, rice-and-curry plates, hoppers, and desserts such as watalappan. Indoor dining, an outdoor beer-garden area, full bar, and family-style portions are highlighted on OpenTable and Zest; marked vegan options are available on the in-house menu (HappyCow). Orders and delivery run through Uber Eats and Foodhub; dine-in discounts appear on EatClub and First Table.
