Footscray flagship of the Roti Road group (a second branch trades at Highpoint Shopping Centre) on Barkly Street’s Malaysian strip — a roomy, halal dine-in room where roti is stretched and griddled fresh to order, often visible through a kitchen viewing window. The official menu and Zest venue copy span roti canai with sambal, dahl and curry dips; curry and asam laksas; nasi lemak; satay; char kway teow and shareable Malaysian-Chinese plates, with vegan and low-gluten options called out on the Footscray location page. Good Food (Jul 2025) highlights flaky roti canai and the towering roti tisu dessert brushed with condensed milk. Footscray uniquely offers BYO and licensed drinks (Highpoint is dry).
