About Us
Michel Dubois opened Melbourne’s original Roule Galette in 2007 on the corner of Flinders Lane and Scott Alley — a compact French crêperie tucked down the laneway with French music, décor and newspapers. The Dubois family (from Paris via Melbourne since 2006) serves Breton buckwheat galettes — naturally gluten-free savoury crêpes — and sweet white-flour crêpes with homemade sauces, French cheeses and no processed ingredients. CBD chef Lola Chatainier runs the griddles; dine-in and takeaway from Tuesday breakfast through Sunday afternoon (closed Mondays and public holidays). The Carnegie sibling on Koornang Road is a separate site — this row is the 2007 Flinders Lane flagship only. CBD does not take reservations (walk-in; expect queues at peak). Weekend and card surcharges per menu.
