About Us

Tavlin is a kosher Israeli street-food restaurant on Carlisle Street in Balaclava, opened by chef Adi Daboush in October 2012 after travels through the Middle East and family recipes from Damascus, Tripoli and Tel Aviv. The shopfront serves falafel, shawarma, hummus bowls, sabich, laffa wraps and loaded fries for dine-in or takeaway, with Syrian spices, daily prep and a Tel Aviv street-food atmosphere. Under Kosher Australia supervision; also offers on-site functions (up to 50 guests) and off-site catering.
