Couple-run Japanese sushi bar in Coburg by Shingo and Rena Tochimoto, who spent five years in Brunswick Market before reopening in a hand-built 17-seat shop across from Half Moon Cafe (Broadsheet, April 2026). Shingo trained for more than a decade at his grandfather's sushi restaurant in Tokyo; the concise, affordable menu stays seasonal around nigiri, chirashi, donburi, onigiri and miso soup, with blowtorched salmon and yuzu scallop among staple nigiri and chicken nanban among the warm rice bowls. Lunch Thu–Mon; occasional weekend dinner service is planned alongside a future liquor licence. Walk-in counter service — no published phone or official website.
