About Us

Family-run Indonesian fusion restaurant at the base of a Franklin Street tower near Fulton Lane, founded by brothers Dion and Michael Sanusi after a home experiment with house-made salted egg yolk sauce grew into a CBD venue backed by mother Ibu Lie Tjoa (official Our Story, Concrete Playground). The room is bright and casual with an open kitchen, robot table runners, and walk-ins welcome alongside phone reservations. Menu spans salted-egg noodle and chicken plates, Jakarta-style martabak manis (including Tim Tam and matcha specials), nasi uduk betawi, rendang, geprek sambal bowls and rotating promos such as mie curry — traditional Indonesian family recipes with imported spices and in-house sambals. Delivery via Uber Eats and DoorDash; halal-friendly with vegetarian-adaptable options (HappyCow, Taste of Indonesia). Sister venue Kata Kita (Melbourne Central) is a separate Sanusi family restaurant.
